Chittagong Medical College Alumni of USA (CMC Alumni of USA) is the oldest USA based alumni organization of American physicians who studied at Chittagong Medical College. Established in 2001 the Chittagong Medical College Alumni of USA is a 501 (C) (3) Federal tax-exempt organization registered in the State of Florida. Its mission is to Promote and Support activities that connect the alumni to each other and to their alma mater and conduct charity as well as exchange of expertise and knowledge for the benefit of both the people of Bangladesh and USA. Another major focus of the organization is helping the alumni with technical, legal, financial advice and social services as needed. During early days of COVID19 pandemic, when in the city of Chittagong people were dying from mere lack of oxygen supply systems, CMC alumni of USA launched an emergency fund raiser, purchased, and shipped $150,000 worth of life saving medical supplies to Chittagong, Bangladesh.
